True compassion means listening to the whole person on all levels, not just their pressing circumstances. My work is incredibly gentle and supportive, suitable in times of need.
Frank Ray uses his training as a Craniosacral Therapist to help you rediscover good health and happiness on all levels.
If I'm honest, I have to admit that It was with apprehension that I attended my first cranio session with Frank. Having had a stroke and suffering severe headaches, depression and backpain I wanted to try an 'alternative' form of 'medicine'. My aim was for the treatment to shift my energy levels so that I could be more intune with the physical impact the stroke had on my body. I had investigated this treatment on the NHS website[*] which gave an overview and a thumbs up making me feel more confident. Franks calmness, professionalism and caring soon put me at ease. During the sessions I felt tingly sensations and movement especially on my left side where I had lack of movement. I would go on to say that it felt as though my body was starting to become 'alive'. Besides the physical difference and coming away feeling flushed & exhausted I definitely felt a shift in my thinking, more grounded and a connection of being more in touch with my body. A very empowering experience. (Note: this person was seen in a supportive capacity whilst remaining under the primary care of their GP) [*] Referring to the NHSTA Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners, November 2010.
I found all sessions with Frank really beneficial both physically and emotionally. Appointments were relaxing, invigorating and wonderfully supportive. I often walked away with a renewed sense of calm and restored objectivity. I continue to benefit weeks later. I'd certainly recommend Frank's work to others.
